The Okeanos will use their Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), Deep Discoverer, or D2. ROV D2 will be diving between 250 – 6,000 meters. The scientists on board use D2 to search the depths of the Hawaiian Islands to look for deep-sea corals, geological samples, sunken ships, as well as marine habitats and monuments.

Be sure to tune in everyday, weather permitting, between 1 pm to 10pm EST to watch with us!
