The ocean’s smallest living organisms, microbes and plankton, are critical to all marine life, as they form the foundation of the marine food chain. Much of the world’s oxygen is produced by phytoplankton. Participants will discover the diversity of ocean plankton, explore plankton adaptations, create and test their own plankton design, and investigate plankton samples from local waters.
